【摘要】:1.1ThisStandardcoversinsulatedmulti-polematingornon-matingsplicingwireconnectorsintendedforfieldwiringandfactorywiringforuseinaccordancewiththeCanadianElectricalCode,PartI,inCanada,andNFPA70,NationalElectricalCode,intheUnitedStates.1.2Thesewireconnectorsareintendedtofacilitatetheconnectionofdevices,suchasprefabricatedwiringassemblies,smokedetectors,andlightingproducts,tothebranchcircuitconductorsofbuildings.1.3Thesewireconnectorsmayadditionallybeusedinternaltoluminariestofacilitatereplacementoftheballastandmaynotbedirectlyattachedtothebranchcircuitconductors.Thesewireconnectorsaresuitableforoneormoreconductorspercontact.1.4Thesewireconnectorsaresuitableforusewith30to6AWG(0.05to13.3mm2)strandedcopperconductorsand30to10AWG(0.05to5.3mm2)solidcopperconductors.1.5Thesewireconnectorsaresuitableforcurrentsnotexceedingtheampacityofinsulatedconductorsorasratedbythemanufacturer.1.6Thesewireconnectorsaresuitableforvoltagesnotexceeding600V.1.7ThisStandarddoesnotapplyto(a)splicingwireconnectorsintendedfordirectburial;(b)insulatedsplicingwireconnectorsintendedforuseatvoltagelevelsexceeding600V(1000Vinasignorluminaire);(c)terminalwireconnectors;(d)wirebindingscrewterminals;(e)built-interminalconnectorsondeviceshavingintegralcableclamps;(f)flatquick-connectterminals;(g)devices,suchaswireconnectorsandsolderinglugs,thatarecoveredby(i)CAN/CSA-C22.2No.65orUL486A-486B;(ii)CAN/CSA-C22.2No.188orUL486C;or(iii)UL486E;(h)devices,suchasquick-connectterminals,thatarecoveredbyCSAC22.2No.153orUL310;(i)devicescoveredbyCSAC22.2No.182.3orUL1977;and(j)devices,suchaspinandsleeveconnectors,thatarecoveredbyCSAC22.2No.182.1orUL1682.
