【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecharacteristicsof120mmOpticalDiskCartridges(ODCs)withacapacityof650MbytesusingPhaseChangePDformat.ThispresentInternationalStandardspecifiestworelated,butdifferentimplementationsofsuchcartridges,viz.TypeR/WProvidesfordatatobewritten,readandoverwrittenmanytimesoverthewholerecordingsurfaceofthediskusingthephasechangerecordingandread-outmethod.TypeWORMProvidesfordatatobewrittenonceandreadmanytimesoverthewholerecordingsurfaceofthediskusingthephasechangerecordingandread-outmethod.TypeR/WandTypeWORMarealsoreferredtoas"rewritable"and"write-once"respectively.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies-theconditionsforconformancetestingandtheReferenceDrive;-theenvironmentsinwhichthecartridgesaretobeoperatedandstored;-themechanicalandphysicalcharacteristicsofthecartridge,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangeabilitybetweendataprocessingsystems;-theformatoftheinformationonthediskknownasthePDformat;includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectioncodes,andthemodulationmethodused;-thecharacteristicsoftheembossedinformationonthedisk;-thephasechangerecordingcharacteristicsofthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstowritedataontothedisk;-theminimumqualityofuser-writtendataonthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstoreaddatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesforinterchangebetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructure,itprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
