【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversforgedlowalloyandstainlesssteelpipingcomponentsforuseinpressuresystems.Includedareflanges,fittings,valves,andsimilarpartstospecifieddimensionsortodimensionalstandardssuchastheASMEspecificationsthatarereferencedinSection2.Forbarsandproductsmachineddirectlyfrombar,refertoSpecificationsA479/A479MandA739,forthesimilargradesavailableinthosespecifications.Productsmadetothisspecificationarelimitedtoamaximumweightof10000lb[4540kg].Forlargerproductsandproductsforotherapplications,refertoSpecificationA336forthesimilargradesavailableinthatspecification.Severalgradesoflowalloysteelsandferritic,martensitic,austenitic,andferritic-austeniticstainlesssteelsareincludedinthisspecification.Selectionwilldependupondesignandservicerequirements.Supplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforusewhenadditionaltestingorinspectionisdesired.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedindividuallybythepurchaserintheorder.Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandinSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicable"M"specificationdesignation(SIunits),thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
